Dried Yellow Maize

MAIZE UNCOOKED

Maize is a very successful high

visibility particle bait

for carp and coarse fish and

much tougher than

sweetcorn. It can be fed in

quantity into your swim for

a carpet feed effect and it can

hold fish for hours

when used over partiblend . It

can also be used as a

hook bait.

Maize can be tailored in many

different ways during

the preparation process with

colours, sweeteners and

flavours can be added.

 

Preparation

Soak for 24 – 36 hours then

cover with water ensuring

the maize is covered and

allowing enough water for it

still to be covered when the

maize expands. Bring to

the boil and simmer for 30+

minutes, the maize should

still be quite tough but split

when pinched.
